A different kind of mobile DJ experience in the Lehigh Valley, PA area and beyond

We started Alternative DJs because a friend of ours asked us to DJ her 80s/New Wave-themed Halloween wedding. She didn't want the typical cheesy wedding DJ stuff and knew we understood the kind of music and vibe she DID want. Everyone had such a great time that word of mouth took off, and we started DJing for other friends, who then told their friends. Because people appreciated having an alternative to the typical mobile DJ experience, Alternative DJs was born!

We love music, and we especially love providing 100% custom-designed musical experiences for people who are looking for something a little different. Sure, we can do the things you'd expect from a typical mobile DJ, but we like to work with you to make sure you're getting exactly what you want so you don't end up having to endure music that you don't want to hear!

Some things we love to play that many mobile DJs can't or don't:

• Alternative, Modern Rock, Indie Rock, Brit Pop, Trip Hop, New Wave, No Wave, & Shoegaze (we love college radio and independent music!)
• 80s/90s/00s/10s, including the hits *and* the deep cuts, if you so desire
• Club/Dance, including Electro, Prog House, Tech House, Dubstep, and all those other fun sub-genres

In other words, we won't play Nickelback if you're into Nick Cave. We won't send inflatable props flying through the crowd.  We won't teach you how to dougie, grill you about letting the dogs out, or heckle you into doing the macarena (but of course, we'll play those songs if you want us to).

We WILL play the music you and your guests love, without breaking the bank. We've done all kinds of fun events for all kinds of fun people, and we're confident we can deliver the goods for you, too.
